Standing water on Dalehouse Lane
Reported in the Flooding or standing water on road category anonymously at 14:58, Tue 22 November 2016
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 931114.
For several weeks now there has been a substantial area of standing water at the edge of the road on the left-hand side of Dalehouse Lane (in the direction of Kenilworth), not far after you exit the roundabout on Stoneleigh Road. It is probably about 12 by 3 feet wide. At one point it cleared for 24 hours, but then it came back. It am concerned that it will become very dangerous if and when it freezes.

To confirm the above, I am writing in with the same concern. Dalehouse lane is not lit. The standing water which seems to be run off from the field on the high side of the road is deep enough to cause an accident.
Also, as the first person who reported this issue points out that whole section of the road (100m+ both ways) will be like an ice rink when we get a frost at night.
My wife and kids use that road frequently and it is unsafe.

This pool is now getting bigger and has been particularly dangerous with the freezing weather. Something really needs to be done urgently with this issue before it causes an accident.
