Water course needs clearing out.
Reported in the Flooding or standing water on road category anonymously at 15:35, Tue 15 November 2016
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 927503.
This has been an ongoing problem for many years. As a resident who has been flooded eight times in the last nineteen years it is my belief that at least six of them could have been prevented if the watercourse had been cleared. The part of the watercourse you are responsible for is from The Pines to the severn trent pumping station.I would be very gratetful if this could be looked into, yours faithfully,R Knowles

Had site visit and once again it was concluded that the watercourse was running freely.I disagree with this and have put in a formal complaint.

The July 21st date was postponed,an inspection took place yesterday August 1st.Not sure what if anything will be done to clear the watercourse.Firstly, an ecologist has to inspect the area for wildlife that might inhabit the banks, then if they get the all clear,it might be mowed to cut down the overgrown vegetation. This in my opinion will not cure the problem of flooding. The base of the watercourse needs to be cleared out.

It seems the ecologist has given the all clear and the mowing of the banks has been added to the mowing schedule. This is supposed to be done sometime this month.Seeing is believing,if its not done I will be activating stage two of the complaints procedure.
