Hazardous hole on pavement caused by damaged drain cover

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 926294.
The rectangular cover to a 2m-deep drain is damaged. Someone could be seriously injured if they stepped into the hole which is big enough for a person's foot to go all the way in. The hole is near Woodside Cottage.

The hole has been cordoned off only but not repaired and so this is wholly unsatisfactory. If the barrier shielding the hole was knocked down by a passing lorry the danger would still be there. Why hasn't it been fixed yet?
