Very overgrown hedge

Reported in the Hedges / Trees on road or verge category by Lisa Mears at 13:06, Fri 1 July 2016

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 4 minutes later

The hedge along the A5 is very overgrown and is hanging over into my garden. From my side the hedge is approximately 11ft tall and the A5 side will be much higher as the ground dips down. I have reported this on numerous occasions over the last 15 years or more but nothing has been done (except one time last year when someone came to cut my side of the hedge. They said that they'd be back with the proper equipment to do the top and never did. Every time I ring NWBC they say it belongs to WCC and vice versa. The hedges were planted when the bypass was built and been left since then. I am 76 years old and can't do it. I am not paying somebody to do it because it doesn't belong to me. Can you URGENTLY arrange for something to be done. Please don''t tell me to contact NWBC because they'll just say to contact you. Liaise between yourselves please and reply ASAP.
