Overgrown bridleway and waterlogged
Reported in the Rights of way category by Imogen Addison at 18:37, Tue 24 May 2016
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 829620.
This short stretch of bridleway is becoming impassable on a horse. Tree branches are overhanging at a dangerously low level and the width of the path as you approach aspley heath lane - poorly maintained wire fence - is a hazard. If a riders foot became stuck in the wire then a serious accident could occur. In the same section there is a constantly waterlogged area - possibly due to a burst pipe which has not been repaired. This has been like it for many months.

The fallen tree has been removed, but the path is very overgrown and the wire fence is still extremely dangerous.

This bridleway is still extremely overgrown, you have to duck under branches and risk wrapping you foot in the unsafe wire fencing. It remains waterlogged throughout the year.
