Congestion during early evening
Reported in the Road markings category anonymously at 09:41, Fri 6 May 2016
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 820254.
During the evening peak-hours, there is considerable traffic heading north on the A444 towards Nuneaton. The build-up always 'tails back' across the roundabout at Eliot Way, hindering and often completely preventing, egress from Eliot Way onto the roundabout for traffic wanting to travel southbound on the A444. There is an urgent requirement for some 'keep clear' markings (or yellow hashing) to protect the Eliot Way access onto the southbound carriageway. With new commercial and residential development underway in Barling Way, this situation will get worse not better in the near future, so action is required now. Furthermore, consideration needs to be given to the suitability of there only being one vehicular access to what is becoming quite a large area off of Eliot Way.

Still no sign of workmen nor 'keep clear' markings... How long do we have to wait for 1/2 hour's work?
