Cars for sale on the highway
Reported in the Parking on street category anonymously at 14:25, Thu 5 May 2016
Sent to Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 819856.
There are cars for sale in this slip road on The Longshoot, Eastboro Way and farm gated areas. This week this totalled 7 cars, with for sale signs and prices. The owner lives on Hinckley Road opposite the junction with St Nicolas Park drive as he has another selection on his driveway. He test drives them without trade plates, so does he have insurance? The Police have been told on 30/04/2016, but the cars are still there. The control room told us it was illegal to do this.

This is an eyesore, illegal and a fire hazard.

The county and borough councils have both batted the issue to each other without looking at the problem. It is a county issue as the cars are on a highway not a verge or grass area. The cars are still being moved around and the house responsible has around five cars for sale at home. Other traders cannot advertise but are now putting more signs up on eastboro way due to this

Are the council's bothered, why do we have this website. Still cars for sale, six in total around eastboro way near the cremetoriam, next when people have funerals we can buy any car, what about a burger van for after. Come on council, it's an obstruction, fire hazard and now people are fly tipping around the cars.
