Very large pothole - multiple complaints of car damage

This pothole was reported previously in March 2015, when it was repaired thank you very much (your PEM Reference No: 389565). The pothole is where the cycle path crosses The Drive and it has reappeared over the recent bad weather. I have received multiple complaints from car owners about damage to their cars. The problem is that the pothole is often hidden under water and is not visible, so it cannot be avoided. It took and my team about 20 minutes using buckets to drain that part of the road to enable me to measure the pothole, which measures: 150mm deep, by 900mm by 1,400mm.

The pothole was repaired within twenty hours of me reporting it. I was impressed by the speed of response and am grateful for the repair. However, my one concern now is that it was such a rapid repair that I have doubts that it will last. Already the area is showing signs of breaking up again.
