At the bottom of Prince's Street - parking on grass verge
Reported in the Parking within pay and display car parks category anonymously at 19:32, Mon 18 January 2016
Sent to Warwick District Council and Warwickshire County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 748551.
At the end of term last year I reported the many cars which park on the grass verge to take children to school. This blocks the highway and churns up the grass.
I suggest that the wooden post barrier should be bought to the edge of the roadway to ensure passageway of cars and maintain the Comyn

As you can imagine at this time of year the grass verge is being destroyed from cars churning up the grass into mud. The solution to bring forward the wooden barier is simple and would be effective in stopping cars blocking the road 2-3 times a day picking up children... another hazard.

A WDC Group, headed by Katie Wild is now investigating the problem and promised a report. An interest has been taken by Cllr Andrew Thompson who also lives in Prince's Street and I hope to have his support for my suggestion to move the barrier to the curbsice as it is all around the rest of the pavement on that side of the Comyn,
