People keep driving up and down our no through paved street.
Reported in the Parking within pay and display car parks category anonymously at 07:06, Mon 11 January 2016
Sent to Warwick District Council and Warwickshire County Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 743015.
I live on the paved area of Tachbrook street and over the last year to 18 months more and more people are driving up and down using it as a through road, delivering take aways, having food shopping delivered. We are now experiencing people regularly parking overnight and during the day. The main entrance to Shrubland Street school is on Tachbrook St and I am concerned that someone is going to get hurt. There are also 2 alleyways leading onto our street and someone coming out of these would also be at risk. If this isn't the correct site to report this could you give me a contact address for passing this on.

I used to live on Tachbrook street and was constantly reporting to company's that I witnessed driving up and down the street. Unfortunately the council don't want to know I was told they was going to put bollards up at the bottom by the car park but apparently residents didn't want them just over 3 years ago.. The only way I found sort of slowed the problem was by going direct to company's themselves ie Tesco was a main one when I lived there!

Problem still not fixed in fact a couple of cars drove down again last night and one has just gone past now. Unfortunately as you need to leave access for emergency vehicles bollards wouldn't work. Perhaps a large NO VEHICLE ACCESS sign could be put up at either end of the street?

Problem is nearly fixed. The no vehicle signs are now up at either end of the street. Just a shame that some residents of the street are still driving up and down.
