Blocked ditch outlet causing flooding on road .
Reported in the Flooding or standing water on road category anonymously at 09:56, Fri 1 January 2016
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 736380.
There is a ditch and visible headwall on South side of te road. The road camber leads towards the ditch as the hill descends. Currently the ditch, headwall and outlet pipe are all silted up and hence the water is running past the headwall point and pooling at the low point of the road some 15m before the bridge over the river leam. The effect of this is that traffic cannot see the verges and as they come past they are pushing verges over. On the South side this is resulting in the field boundary fence being pushed over in a field where there is livestock. People are cutting grips into fields to let water off the roads. It needs the ditch and outlets clearing upstream and potentially 30 - 40m of kerbs to both sides of the road by the bridge - this will prevent further vehicle incursion and damage to fences and buried utilities.
