Property flooding
Reported in the Flooding or standing water on road category anonymously at 09:44, Fri 20 November 2015
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 718474.
Over the years (7 years we have been here but we believe it has been going on longer) we have had numerous floods. The issue is caused by a mile stretch of sewers being blocked through Bilton and a capacity issue on the drains meaning road run-off from the top of Lawford Lane in torrential rain sweeps straight onto our property. I would like to talk to someone about the ongoing issue please.

Yes, I can confirm that after 8+ years the issue was finally resolved and Highways and Severn Trent both pleaded ignorance regarding responsibility over the damage that was caused in the meantime. A completely fallible working model between two organisations that means neither of them is accountable and the customer deals with the consequences. Completely disgusted, still, by the whole experience.
