C205 kinwarton road alcester - carriageway resurfacing works commenced 17/08/2015 The new surface is now laid but after the weekend rain the entrance to the retirement flats at Oversley House opposite the shops is now full of undrained water this is the main entrance for the elderly visiting the shops etc and also vehicle access any vehicles traveling past in the direction of alcester high street have the potential to hit this water at speed and to soak any pedestrians including children attending the local school Regards Mr K A Bayliss Resident

The Engineer has been in touch and as advised me that the work to solve the problem will take about two days starting from Monday the 26/10/2015

After contacting Mr Kevin Nugent at the highways department the problem has now been solved with the installation of a new drain thanks to him and his team there is no risk to the elderly residents of Oversley House the pedestrians and the pupil's who attend the local school of getting soaked by passing traffic well done.
