Overgrown hedges and vegetation
Reported in the Hedges / Trees on road or verge category by Claudette Jordan at 12:13, Thu 13 August 2015
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 6 days, 5 hours, 47 minutes later
Hello, hedges are overgrown onto pavement area causing people with pushchairs or children to step into the busy road as there is very limited space left on the pavement. Half of the pavement is now covered with stinging nettles and hedges. This area of hedges that is causing the problem is on Park Lane Galley Common from Chesterton Drive junction past Mayfair Drive all the way to the low railway bridge. There is going to be an accident on this road by people being forced off the pavement onto the road.
Hedges and stinging nettles are still overgrown making the pavement area smaller and smaller. What will the council do when the people who are forced to walk off the pavements end up With being hit by a car?
