Junction B4453 with A423 - restricted visability
Reported in the Hedges / Trees on road or verge category anonymously at 10:42, Thu 25 June 2015
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 652887.
When exiting the B4453 onto the A425 the visibility is now severely restricted by overgrown bushes, trees and grass verges further away from the junction. This is making is extremely dangerous to pull out, especially when turning right. I use this daily and have seen several very near misses and it is only a matter of time before there is a major accident. It is a nasty junction anyway with traffic on the A423 being heavy and often speeding so good visibility is essential.

The ability to report a problem by email is excellent and I was impressed at the speed of the acknowledgement, including a phone call from the surveyer/engineeer whilst visiting the site a few days later. However, no action seems to have been taken. The bushes and trees on verges have not been cut back and so the problem still remains. Some of the offending trees and bushes on the west side of the junction are on private land whilst others are on the roadside but all these must be dealt with soon before there is a serious accident.
