Quarry wall collapse adjacent to footpath

Reported by John Wilmot at 19:43, Mon 25 May 2015

Sent to Warwick District Council and Warwickshire County Council 2 minutes later

On 23/3/15 there was a landslip affecting an old quarry wall, adjacent to the footpath running from Rock Mill Lane to Old Milverton and the Saxon Mill. This is 2/3 of the way along the section behind Highcroft Crescent and its margin is very close to the path. An alternative route lies along Highcroft Crescent. Barriers at each end of this section have been erected but keep being moved by walkers. We are concerned about the implications for public safety.
