Kerb stone damage outside 56, Gerard Road
Reported in the Obstruction or hazard on road category anonymously at 14:54, Thu 16 April 2015
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 622352.
There is damage to the kerb stone outside 56, Gerard Road. This is opposite the entrance to Alcester Academy School. The damage is caused by cars, vans and lorries parking on the pavement when visiting the school. The loose kerb stone is a potential hazard to any person walking along the pavement. It is a danger to all the pedestrian traffic as well as motor traffic which is particularly high during the week days. The kerb stone has been loose for some time but two very large lorries delivering to the school, drove over it this week and the matter is now serious.

We had a emergency response team arrive within 12 hours from the time that I had reported the fault. A temporary repair job was made. We were told that a permanent repair would be made at a later date. This permanent repair has not been carried out.
