Traffic on Blackwell Road Tredington
Reported in the Road works problem category anonymously at 11:52, Wed 26 November 2014
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 550199.
Road works are currently being carried out on the Fosseway by Tredington. The Fosseway is closed after the Blackwell road turn into Tredington the cars are using this road as a cut through to the Shipston/Stratford Road. This morning on travelling this road I incurred vehicles in the 30mph speed limit bombing down the road by the school (children were being dropped off at school 8.45am) and when I left the village via the Blackwell Road cars are travelling way too fast along this country lane, I would advise the Council to visit the area and they will see where both grass verges have been churned up by vehicles, cars can only pass on this road with care in normal circumstances. This has been going on since Monday 24th November.

This is an unfortunate side effect of carry out major works on such busy roads. We are unable to stop traffic coming down this road, however, we are trying to come up with a solution that will minimise what is occuring
