Overgrown vegetation
Reported via desktop in the Hedges / Trees on road or verge category anonymously at 14:19, Fri 16 October 2020
Sent to Warwickshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2344016.
There is overgrown vegetation coming from a small piece of waste ground right next the railway bridge that is forcing pedestrians into a very busy road. I have reported this over and over again over the last 4 years and it is yet to be cut back. This is a very busy road and the ONLY pathway from my home towards coventry. My choices are to walk in the very busy road to avoid the overgrowth or try and cross on to an equally busy island where visibility is very poor. I have reported this on fix my street over and over again and keep being given excuses by both CCC and WCC telling me it is the others responsibility. I have gone so far as asking my local councillor (DAMON BROWN) for help but he is now not answering my email. Please do not email me back to me tell me that this is not your responsibility. The land registry has been looked at and it falls within WCC. For photographs you can look at the other report at this location for the same thing. Please do something before someone gets seriously hurt.
P.S I cannot tag on the map the actual location or the report gets sent to CCC . Obviously something wrong with the map!

Questionnaire asking me if its fixed? Well, Simple answer is the council/glendale have hacked all the branches down and left them where they have fallen. They will probably end up all over the road and the problem will be just as bad come spring as they have not removed anything from the path. So as soon as the weeds start to grow in spring we will be back to square one. All it needs is for someone with spade to scrap the soil that the weeds are growing in of the paths surface. Thankful that I don't have to walk in a busy road for a few months atleast 🤷♀️
