10 inch drop at side of tarmac due to reversing articulated lorries that have travelling up narrow single track lane and got stuck on the bend. This is a designated cycle route and a danger to cyclists.

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 15:56, Tue 13 October 2020

Sent to Warwickshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2339041.

Today as has happened many times previously an articulated lorry got stuck on the tight bend then took 3 hrs to reverse back down Dark Lane , Shelfield green, Alcester, Warwickshire, totally blocking the lane for all of that time 0800 1100 hrs . The lorry vrn. WX62 AFU was following his sat nav delivering sand to Dan Skelton Racing at Lodge Hill Shelfield Green.

This is a regular problem when the drivers are not told to travel further along Spernal lane To avoid the tight bends on Dark Lane.

We desperately need a street name ie Dark Lane at the t junction in Shelfield and with it a warning that this road is not not suitable for heavy goods lorries / articulated lorries / narrow single track lane / ignore sat nav . We have no street name or any signage to prevent the lorries turning down.

We also need to report massive trenches near to Lower Brook house about 20 cms deep Where the lorries have got stuck in the mud Trying to reverse or eroded the soil as their tyres are too wide for the track. This lane is a well used cycle route and now a danger to cyclists.
