Gully blocked and flooding whenever it rains
Reported via desktop in the Gully or manhole defect category anonymously at 09:48, Mon 5 October 2020
Sent to Warwickshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2325552.
The road gully is not draining away after rainfall. It needs clearing as it is blocked almost up to the top of the drain below. With the high rainfall there are constant floods in the road which is then coming over the pavement and into our property. The flooding then extends all the way into Tudor Close. Severn Trent have checked on site and have confirmed this is not a sewer problem but a Highways issue. This was reported firstly on 11 February then 5 March and has been like this for at least a month before this. This is in the gutter outside 111 West Street. It causes flooding into our driveway and then garage.
