Overgrown shrub blocking view of oncoming traffic

Reported in the Hedges / Trees on road or verge category anonymously at 10:48, Sunday 27 September 2020

Sent to Warwickshire County Council less than a minute later

A shrub on Earl Rivers Ave needs a trim as it blocks the view of oncoming traffic when crossing the road. This is opposite the works entrance to the newly built retirement village. You cannot see oncoming traffic until you are in the middle of the road.

Updates

  • As well as difficulty with crossing the road as the view is blocked by the shrubbery there are during the weekday works vehicles parked either on the grass verge or on the road which adds to the difficulty of crossing. Cars drive fast into Earl Rivers Avenue once they have exited the roundabout so you very often get caught mid way across the road.
