Minor persistent flooding around manhole cover and 2 spots close. Reported to Severn Trent numerous times who refuse to investigate other than saying they found sewage is seeping out but when they checked the drains they were clear! which is clearly illogical. There is always pooling in all weathers and as it is just before a dangerous part blind bend we feel when the weather gets colder it will form ice and cause vehicles to sid in an already tricky location.

Unfortunately this photo doesn't show the problem as it's too small. There is minor sepage from the drain which is constantly pooling in 2 or 3 other spots close by. We have reported the problem to Severn Trent numerous times and their final response is that they've tested the seepage and it is from the drain but when they test the drain it's clear, which clearly isn't logical. We feel there may well be leaks below the surface too. Our concern is that since the water always lies on the surface whatever the weather, in colder weather if ice forms there it could cause an accident since this is right by a fairly blind corner which is already quite dangerous.
