On Whittleford road the side of the road has collapsed and at this point the road is higher than the pavement. Barriers were put around problem weeks ago. The barriers are down and are a danger to traffic travelling along the road. Nothing has been done for weeks. Is the problem going to be sorted any time soon? Mrs A Thompson

  • This problem still has not been resolved. The metal barrier is still down plastic ones put up in place will not stop a vehicle. This is a major issue and needs to be resolved in the next few days. There had been another incident with a car today 10th October 2020. The council is putting lives at risk, there are small children who live in the houses closest to the cap in the barrier. If the issue drags on I will seek legal more legal advice.
