Overgrown footpath and footpath subsidence, B4100 south of Gaydon

Reported in the Hedges / Trees on road or verge category anonymously at 14:42, Wednesday 2 September 2020

Sent to Warwickshire County Council less than a minute later

The footpath between the B4100 layby and the top of the railway bridge is in poor condition and has subsided badly on the hill between Burton View and the railway bridge It is dangerous to run or walk on. It requires urgent attention.

In addition, this stretch has numerous bushes and trees that have become overgrown. This means that you have to step out into the road to get round them.

Many speeding vehicles use this road so it is not safe to walk in the road.

The stretch of footpath directly opposite the layby is overgrown with brambles.
