Sent to Stratford-on-Avon District Council and Warwickshire County Council less than a minute later
Occupants have parked caravan completely blocking pat and park their van against no parking signs on opposite pathway blocking both sides and forcing pedestrians into the street to pass. Ongoing problem
Warwickshire County Council does not have the authority to deal with vehicles parked inappropriately at this location. For assistance with a vehicle which is causing an obstruction you would need to contact the Police who have powers to take appropriate action. The Police have the authority as the Highway Code states“You MUST NOT leave your vehicle or trailer in a dangerous position or where it causes any unnecessary obstruction of the road. [Laws CSDPA sect 21 & RTRA sects 5 & 8]” In such a case they may issue a Fixed Penalty Notice or arrange removal/relocation of the vehicle.
