Hedges, trees and shrubs are so overgrown, pedestrians have to duck to avoid injury when passing through the gate between Steeping Road and Prentice Close

Photos taken from the footpath adjacent to Prentice Close towards Steeping Road showing overgrown shrubbery and trees that are obstructing the gateway and are a safety issue for pedestrians. This area has been completely ignored by Warwickshire CC for years.

Basic remedial action (20 minutes) carried out by RBC Parks Team on Monday 24th August. Re-visited today (3rd September) by WCC to fully remove overgrown branches and vegetation

A two man team from Rugby Borough Council cleared all vegetation from around the "kissing gate" on September 3rd 2020. Also grass open spaces in and around Steeping Road have finally been cut
