Temporary 30 signs

Reported via Android in the Road signs category by Cllr. Adrian Claxton at 23:39, Tuesday 21 July 2020

Sent to Warwickshire County Council less than a minute later

Why are there still temporary 30mph signs between the Fosse way and Lighhorne heath. There are no longer any current roadworks along this stretch of road.

  • The temporary signs are still in position 5 weeks after the work was completed. 50 and temporary 30 signs are side by side. Most 50 and all the local permanent speed limit signs have been painted out and ALL need reinstating. The Permanent 50 sign north bound near Winyates Road has been removed. I was driving my car southbound along the Banbury Road yesterday and was nearly hit head on by a car passing another car doing the required 30 mph.
