Overgrown hedge and weeds obstructing pavement

Sent to Warwickshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2195906.
The hedge adjoining the footpath along the northern side of New Road (leading from Ash Green to Keresley village is overgrown in parts and obstructing the path. The overgrown hedge is a safety issue for anyone with a pram, pushchair or using a wheelchair. In addition, weeds that have not been cut back for several years are also encroaching across the pavement reducing its useable width (see second photo). In parts almost 50% of the pavement is obstructed in this manner. I understand that the owner of the adjacent field is responsible for maintaining the hedge. This was a problem last year also and took until September for the hedge to be cut back. As this is again a problem and a safety issue, can you please liaise with the landowner to have the hedge cut back. As local Borough Councillor with Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council I would also ask that action is taken to remove the accumulated weeds to restore the full width of the pavement as residents have reported several near misses when pedestrians have had to walk in the road because of the restricted pavement width.
