Overgrown bushes obstucting footpath

Reported in the Hedges / trees on rights of way category anonymously at 10:47, Thursday 9 July 2020

Sent to Warwickshire County Council less than a minute later

I regularly run through Studley and down the Birmingham Road to Alcester. As you may know, this is a busy road with a speed limit that varies from 30mph to 50mph. The footpath beside this road is, in places, very overgrown and almost impassible. It makes using the path very difficult. I would not be comfortable running on the road due to the amount and speed of the traffic. This route has not been cut back so far this year and although I understand you must be extremely busy (I'm sure the situation with Covid must have added to your workload) can I ask that consideration be given to anybody wishing to use the path and that the vegetation is trimmed back at the earliest possible opportunity. Thank you for your time.
