Drain Outside 52 Ryde Avenue very blocked from tarmac used to complete the first phase of the new foot way surfacing, which has not remedied/rectified upon additional surfacing on adjacent side of the road recently. This problem now needs urgent attention as is poses a significant floor risk to the residents of 54 and 52 Ryde Avenue.

Hi, many thanks for completing the works on the blocked drain, however, there is more work to do on the curb. A dropped curb that was in place prior to the resurfacing work needs to be put back in place. We are unable to park the car in front of the house without going up a high curb, potentially causing damage to the car. This was reported to the council in August ref. 237239331. I was advised the work on the drain was logged on the same reference number as the curb. Attached are three photos, one is taken from Google street, prior to the works being carried out and shows the positioning of the dropped curb has changed. Would it be possible to have a date for the works to be carried out? Many thanks John

Telephone conversation with Michael Lall on the 8th of October at 15:54. Micheal is to assess the pathway and access to the drive for number 52 Ryde Avenue on the 15th of October and to call the owner the following day. The photo above clearly shows that the curb in front of number 52 is too far over in front of the drive and does not allow safe access to park. The curb in front of house number 50 has been changed by the council to allow safe access to their drive.
