Path Slurry work unfinished and rubbish left behind
Reported in the Road works problem category by James Callaghan at 14:52, Thursday 25 June 2020
Sent to Warwickshire County Council less than a minute later
The pavement's, 'slurry' work, was done on the 13th of June, for some reason the contractors didn't do all of the pavement, leaving the area in front of residents houses un-treated. This has left the street in a mess, it's almost as bad as the poor job done on resurfacing the road a while back. On that occasion, there were still cars parked on the road so those areas were missed completely, it breaks up in hot weather, we're tired of bringing tarry gravel into our house on our shoes, another mess. Why can't contractors do what they're paid to do... using our money?? Do the council ever inspect the work???

Still waiting for this work to be completed. The sign in the photo refers to the second time the contractors were supposed to be coming to complete the job, this was the 11th of September, signs are still there, adding to the eyesore, but nobody came to do the work. This is pathetic really, the council told me they "ran out of material' the first time the came, I find this hard to believe, but if true, maybe it's time to find a contractor that knows what they're doing? Odd that they would do the relatively easy parts of the pavement and then run out of material.
