Tree root suckers dangerously overgrown opposite school

Reported in the Hedges / Trees on road or verge category anonymously at 16:18, Saturday 20 June 2020

Sent to Warwickshire County Council less than a minute later

The tree located on the verge opposite Lapworth Primary school entrance has developed tree root suckers over the last few years that are now very dense and overgrown. This poses a huge danger to children and families when they are attempting to cross the road to school. Traffic approaching cannot be seen without stepping into the road because the tree completely blocks vision of oncoming vehicles. Local residents are unable drive off property safely as the tree blocks view of the road completely. There have already been a number of near misses - please can the issue be addressed quickly for the safety of all using this stretch of Station Lane.
