Very poor surface repairs to footpath

The contractors have made a real mess of the local footpaths. Last week , an operative with a high pressure hose washed the pavements. Leaving a mess in the roads. On Friday 12 June , the contractor brushed a thin surface of tarmac over the footpaths in Orchard Drive, Alcester. They brushed over weeds , cracks and holes and other smaller obstacles. This "new" surface is already lifting and causing a mess. I walked from my back gate yesterday and a layer of tarmac stuck to my shoes. Cars leaving their own drives are getting a layer of tarmac stuck to tyres. Weeds are already pushing though the surface. This is a waste of money. In Roman Way, Alcester , about 200 metres away, footpath repairs were carried out correctly and the result is fine there. In Orchard Drive, Botler Close , it is a total disgrace. I am dismayed to see that the same shoddy job is now being repeated in areas across Alcester. WCC you are not spending the money at all wisely. It needs a review before you get a series of claims for damaged footware etc.
