Overgrown hedge taking over pathway

Reported in the Hedges / trees on rights of way category anonymously at 11:42, Friday 22 May 2020

Sent to Warwickshire County Council less than a minute later

The hedge running along the public footpath on Callier Close is seriously overgrown and has been for several months. It is on a public footpath so is The responsibility of the Council. Even before COVID it was hard to get past people on this path but now it’s even harder as the hedge is in the way. People are unable to socially distance when using it as cars are parked along one side and the hedge is on the other so you can’t just ‘step into the road’ to get out of each other’s way. This hedge used to be regularly cut by the Council but hasn’t been done since long before Christmas 2019. Please please please can it be sorted out??
