Bag of sand or ballast which was left behind by workmen after pavement repairs a few months ago

Reported in the Obstruction or hazard on road category anonymously at 10:11, Saturday 16 May 2020

Sent to Warwickshire County Council less than a minute later

Work was carried out on pavements in Slade Road and Boundary Road which necessitated the temporary closure of these roads. Signs were erected and bags of ballast were used to stabilize them. When work was completed one of these bags was left on the grass verge. Recently it was moved into the road when grass cutting took place however it has now been moved to the pavement. There is a concern that it will be moved back onto the road and could be a hazard particularly in view of the increased number of cyclists.
