Large Hardcore debris from Arches Lane damaging new tarmac surface to footway and roadway
Reported anonymously at 23:38, Wed 13 May 2020
Sent to Rugby Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2115228.
Arches Lane is unadopted and unsealed, constructed from hardcore with many oversize rocks. Council recently planed and remade the roadway and footway adjacent the Lane. However heavy vehicles using Arches Lane are spilling the hardcore over the new paved surface, grinding it into the macadam and will lead to an early deterioration. The owners of Arches Lane should be asked to manage their road surface or contribute towards upkeep of the footway and highway. Not a huge priority, just frustrating to see the recent, long-awaited resurfacing facing an early demise. Write them a letter!
