Double yellow lines marked incorrectly

Reported in the Road markings category anonymously at 15:32, Sunday 10 May 2020

Sent to Warwickshire County Council less than a minute later

On Friday 8th May, the double yellow lines on Old Hinckley Road were repainted. At the junction of Old Hinckley Road and Saints Way, the newly painted yellow lines have been terminated very close to the main road on the eastern side of Saints Way. Saints Way also has double yellows marked along its length, and on the eastern side of the road these lines had always been terminated at about 20 metres from the Old Hinckley Road junction, although they have now mostly worn away. This is so that vehicles exiting Saints Way could use the left hand side of the road before pulling out. These repainted markings terminate approximately only 2 metres from the end of the road. Your drawings should show the correct positioning of the yellow lines on the eastern side of Saints Way. Could this be corrected please so that careless parking can be minimised? Thanks.
