Speeding vehicles on Brinklow Rd

Reported in the Rights of way category anonymously at 21:40, Monday 20 April 2020

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 4 minutes later

Vehicles speed along the Brinklow Rd in excess of 60 MPH DESPITE there being a narrow pedestrian path that directly ABUTS the road. Proper road management would require that ANY road that has a path abutting the road have a speed limit no greater than 40 MPH.

This path is used extensively by the Binley community to reach Coombe Abbey - even more so now with the car park closed. It is UNACCEPTABLE to have to walk along a path feet away from vehicles doing 60-70 MPH. There needs to be a lowering of the speed limit up to Coombe Abbey and average speed cameras put in place to enforce it.
