Blocked manhole overflowing.
Reported in the Gully or manhole defect category anonymously at 09:25, Sun 22 March 2020
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 2070313.
Severn Trent came and partially unblocked the manhole cover so it is not overflowing anymore but still quite full. ST said to contact highways to fully fix the problem. Although no longer overflowing, water appears to be persistently coming up through road further down from manhole.

This issue persists nearly a year later. Someone came out to inspect it and they told me they suspect a clay pipe has broken beneath the road - however no repairs have been made.
In summer 2020, the entire road was resurfaced, yet only months later the new surface is crumbling away around the point where the water is appearing.
In the sub zero temperatures over the last few days this has caused a significant ice problem - see photos.

Today’s snow really highlights the issue. As you can see - the water is originating from the road. There’s no water marks above the origin point and no tracks leading from the land next to it. So the water is coming up through the road.
After a heavy rainfall the man hole outside our garage will overflow indicating a blockage. Then, days/weeks later the water will continue seep out of the point shown in this picture.
The way the manhole overflows and then persists out of the road suggests there is a blockage that has caused the pipe below the road to burst.
We are more or less out of road salt/grit now from the yellow storage unit, and so there is a real ice hazard caused by this water.
