Rain water coming off the road on to boat club premises.
Reported anonymously at 13:50, Sun 15 March 2020
Sent to Warwickshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2062397.
Rain water is draining along the road from the canal bridge & instead of passing the entrance to the Mid Warwickshire Yacht Club, it is running down onto the Club site causing standing water as it has nowhere to drain. Problem is caused by lack of kerb stones & people damaging the grass verge as shown. Whilst accepting that the present rainfall is high, this has been a problem for a considerable time.

Hello MWYC, I am a parish councillor that lives over the bridge from you. There is a much worse case than yours on the B4439 at Shrewley House and after a lot of discussion between County Higways, Drainage, and legal departments it looks like the outcome will be that the home owner who has water coming down his driveway off the road will have to provide his own drainage on his driveway. I would suggest you are in a similar situation, you have no drainage on the driveway and you have standing water further down the driveway. If you would like to chat further about this issue please give me a call or text and I can come over and talk to you. Regards, Neal Soutter 07990694497
