Unnecessary curb on driveway
Reported anonymously at 08:58, Mon 2 March 2020
Sent to North Warwickshire Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 2033606.
A random curb has been left on our drive way- PearTree Avenue B78 2AG. We purchased the new build house November 2018 and was told it would be removed with immediate effect. It is causing us to struggle getting on and off the path. This was said to have been dealt with a year ago and the builders have confirmed all planning has already been processed to remove it, yet nothing has happened. Could you give me an update on the process of removing the curb please? It’s has already damaged two cars which have had to be taken for repair. I appreciate your time with this matter. Thanks in advance.

The curb is still there.. I was told it would be completed in January 2021, then again on bank holiday in August 2021. We have been waiting 3 years for the curb to be removed and it has damaged two of the family cars trying to get on and off the drive. I have been in contact with the builders who since December 2020 have said all payments and paperwork have been processed and just waiting for the council to complete the work. I understand delays with Covid but I have been promised dates since then and no one has turned up. Please can you update me on the situation and when the curb will be removed?
Thanks in advance
