The owner of Gottenham has constructed curbs and placed boulders to the off road entrance of Macmillan way, thereby excluding the footpath's use for the public who previously parked cars in this space before walking. The 'work' is unauthorised as confirmed by Parish Council, Ms S,.Cole.

Updates

  • This is not an adopted road and not Highways land. The extent stops at the edge of the Francis Leys Hill. There is a public right of way (path number SS83), therefore I will send the report to that team to see if there is an impact on pedestrian access to the footpath.
