Status unknown
Foot path on both sides of Queens Close in terrible state. Sever cracking, holes, uneven all along the left and right hand side. Lumps in the foot path. Many elderly people in the close and a disabled man. Pretty much all inhabitants of Queens Close have to walk along the road, as the pavement is too unsafe.

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 2010919.
As described above. Both the left and the right hand pavements as you enter the close from queens road Outside house no 1 - 8 on the left and the same stretch of pavement on the right is in a dreadful and dangerous state. It is cracked throughout, very, very uneven, with holes in places and lumps in other places. There are numerous old people living in the close and a disabled gentlemen. Young and old only walk along the road rather than the pavement as it is too unsafe.

I was called early March by someone who said they had visited Queens Close. Agreed whole path in close was a hazard and It would be fixed. Know we’ve had Covid, but saw a number of other footpaths resurfaced around Kenilworth which were nowhere near as bad as queens close. Can someone please organise this. We have elderly people in the street. We all use the road to walk in. The footpaths are dangerous.

Despite calling again @ 7 weeks ago to try to get this fixed and at same time reporting an accident in the close due to road surface - an elderly resident fall in pavement and broke her right arm - nothing has been done. Resident has been in care the last 6 weeks as not been able to care for self because of arm break!
