Road Flooding and Exposed Gas Pipe

Regular road flooding after rain. Drains and pipe work are blocked downstream of Ivy Cottage and water is unable to flow away. Excessive water and people driving through at speed is eroding the embankment away and gas pipe has been exposed.

  • It has just started to rain and instantly the drains have overflowed either side of Ivy cottage as per the pictures. The rain is light at the moment and the road has already starting to flood. Drainage system is blocked downstream of these drains. Please investigate and repair.

  • Please can somebody look into this issue as one again the road has flooded and damage occurring to the verge, hedge and gas pipe is exposed due to soil erosion.
