Dangerous Flooding after rainfall
Reported in the Flooding or standing water on road category anonymously at 12:03, Thu 13 February 2020
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1996179.
Over the past month, this busy road has been flooding after even moderate rainfall, with depths up to 3 feet, causing a danger, especially to pedestrians and cyclists. This has been a recurring problem for years, when leaves get into the drains and culverts.

THE RECENT LOW RAINFALL MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE TO TELL WHETHER RECENT maintenance HAS BEEN EFFECTIVE

No maintenance /rectification despite raising this issue back in February. This flooding is nothing to do with the storms on 16 June (that was horrendous in itself and the road became a river) but these drains cannot cope with any amount of water as per the pictures today 17/06 - no rain! They are full of debris/silt and need clearing & jetting as does the whole stretch of Broad Lane (both sides of road) from the BT exchange to Penn Lane.
