Totally blocked manhole causing flooding

Reported in the Gully or manhole defect category anonymously at 15:59, Tuesday 4 February 2020

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 2 minutes later

The manhole has been blocked for months, someone is aware of it because they have marked it with yellow paint, it causes flooding elsewhere because it is blocked. The manhole is on the Warwick Road heading into Norton Lindsey village on the right hand side 50 meters past the Norton Lindsey sign which is on the left, exactly where marked on the plan.

  • This hazard reported weeks ago still remains outstanding!

The drain cover is heavily corroded and has become detached, it represents a significant danger to cyclists and road traffic - see photo.

I have cleared the gully yet still water is spewing out, the pipes from this gully to the next are blocked and it needs jetting to cure the problem.

The burst water main at the abandoned chicken farm is still gushing water down the road.
