Loose paving stones on Church Street, Stratford
Reported anonymously at 13:01, Mon 6 January 2020
Sent to Stratford-on-Avon District Council and Warwickshire County Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1921227.
I am Amy, an employee at Stratford District Council. A lady came into our offices today after falling over due to a couple of loose paving stones on Church Street about 20 yards to the left as you come out of the council premises. The paving stones have been loose for some time and a lot of residents are tripping on them and they hold a lot of water when it rains. The customer cut her face rather badly and was very shaken. Customers details: Mrs June Haycock Grove House Norton Gardens Pebworth CV37 8YA Tel: 01789 720036
Kind Regards Amy Tyrer

The lady in question is my wife Mrs June Haycock. Her face is very badly bruised, in fact it looks like she has been assaulted with a baseball bat. She is also bruised on her left torso, left arm and groin. The incident shook her badly. You might want to consider some recompense to her for the pain and discomfort she is having. These slabs have been a problem for a long time and many people, myself included have fallen previously. It is time for some action from WCC aaaand not just platitudes.
