Continuous dangerous parking on a blind bend obstructing vehicles from both directions
Reported in the Obstruction or hazard on road category anonymously at 14:38, Fri 27 December 2019
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1906603.
Although there is a driveway attached to this property at 16 Southey Road, Rugby CV226HF as well as the ability to park elsewhere this vehicle continues to park half on and half off the path on a blind bend making it very dangerous for vehicles approaching in both directions as you have to use the wrong side of the road to get round it, I can see an accident happening here before long. This has been happening for months now since the new owners brought the property.

The Police have the authority as the Highway Code states“You MUST NOT leave your vehicle or trailer in a dangerous position or where it causes any unnecessary obstruction of the road. [Laws CSDPA sect 21 & RTRA sects 5 & 8]” In such a case they may issue a Fixed Penalty Notice or arrange removal/relocation of the vehicle.
