Deep flood water in dip still waiting to kill a driver

Reported in the Flooding or standing water on road category anonymously at 18:09, Tue 17 December 2019

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 1 minute later

Time on time on time - people report this and nothing ever gets done about it.

Either it is the farmer's responsibility to clear the ditches to stpop the road flooding or it is Council's or even Severn Trent's... but it is someone's job.

Even when it is not raining, the ditches either side of Milethorn Farm entrance are so clogged up that the water in them brims with the top of the ditch, so it only takes a tiny tiny bot of rain for it to flood across the road and cause a potentially lethal hazard to motorist and others.

It also stinks of what smells like sewage which cannot be healthy.

Even once the rain has stopped and the roads dry out, the floor remains on the road for days and days afterwards with water beig carried on car tyres from the flood as far at the equally dangerous Five Ways junction back towards Wolvey.

Wet road surface at Five Ways junction in otherwise dry conditions is not a good mix but is invisible in the darkness of these winter months.

Maybe the police need to be involved now as this is dragging on too long as someone is being negligent by not making this situation safe
